This is how Transparent announces Opus Power Cables on its website.
The fact that they used Opus brand in power cables for the first time already attracted our attention. With this statement, things really got more exciting. Statement goes on as:
“In Opus Power Cables, which consist of specially wound 10 AWG conductors, these conductors are carefully selected, separated from each other at regular intervals with silent and electrically neutral filters. This finely tuned network, which eliminates differences that may arise from cable length and termination type and is placed so that the cable always has the ideal electrical characteristics, is a first in power cables for Transparent. Additionally, the connections used in Opus Power Cables are both superconductive and very tight.”
When we switched on the Opus and Opus SE (for source devices) power cables, the first thing that was noticed was the increase in both micro details and distance between instruments. With these cables, which did not create the slightest change in tone, we achieved a fuller and more fluid sound after 15 days, and after a month, the cables really took the system to the next level.
